It possesses a wide range of colours, from pale yellow, golden yellow to yellow brown, Mandarin orange and the most
valuable of all is called Madeira Citrine, which displays intensely saturated reddish-orange to reddish-brown tones.
Most of the goods cut at the lapidary are of eye clean to loupe clean quality.
While occurring naturally, it’s common practise to manufacture Citrine through a heat treatment of Amethyst and other quartz which is stable and permanent.
